This anthology documents the Ukrainian Photographic Alternative (UPHA) collective, showcasing artists from the 1960s to today. The main objective was to create a narrative that highlights the diverse approaches and topics of photographic projects while reflecting Ukrainian societal development through art.

For the book’s art direction, we decided to separate the textual content from the visual material by including a separate booklet integrated into the cover. This design choice ensured that the 600-page anthology remains accessible for researchers and maintains a distinctive quality.
